Following Jesus

My life changed because I heard God's voice and chose to follow Him in what He had to say. Since then His voice has been the thread running through my life. And He doesn't only speak to me for myself, but also for others. In short: I live by and for His voice!
Growing in this was a hard and lonely road. Not many people believed that God still speaks today, or only as an exception.
Building on a foundation
In 2009 I received an image of Christians building on a swamp and sinking again and again. Until Jesus threw stones into the swamp, which after a while became a foundation together. Only on that foundation, God's own words, could people really build something that lasts.
What inspires me
I read a lot. The series God's Generals, about revivalists, reformers and evangelists, has inspired me.
